Glory is a shadowrunner—a freelance operative or mercenary active in Berlin and its environs. Born in post-war Stuttgart, Germany, to a pair of IFMU (Internationale Fahrzeug- und Maschinen-Union AG) megacorporation wageslaves, Glory's formative years were steeped in violence, as the devastation following the European Wars had given rise to fascism and rampant criminality. At fourteen years of age Glory was discovered to possess paranormal abilities. She was accused of witchcraft and banished from her home. She lived on the streets until her seventeenth birthday, when she met her then-girlfriend Marta, who introduced her to a syncretic commune for dispossessed youths in Schönbuch, then broke from the group and left alone for Berlin. Though reluctant to volunteer information about her past, she is known to have ran the shadows for several years with various crews in the role of a combat medic. A composed if unsettling young woman, Glory is focused on the job, effective under pressure, and in close quarters, lethal.
